Osteopathy – A Science and an Art

Osteopathy is considered a science and an art. Once we have finished our 4 years of thorough training each practitioner takes their learning and develops their own style of treatment and care based on their interests, experiences and post graduate courses – so no two osteopaths are the same. Here at the Monkton Farleigh Osteopathic Practice Katie and Francesca make a great team by collectively offering a broad range of specialisms including pregnancy, paediatrics, sports injuries and chronic Pain/trauma resolution.

We are passionate about what we do and enjoy supporting the health of all ages from babies to the elderly using structural and cranial techniques and medical Acupuncture where suitable. Care and empathy are paramount to us, as is treating each patient as an individual.

“Sian’s gentle, yet effective approach to her work made it an easy experience for our 11 year old son when visiting for a back and ankle injury, who up until meeting Sian did not like going to the Osteopath. She was extremely professional and I can not recommend her enough.”
